    More elegant and cheek

Want to know how to change your space when it gets rully rully boring?  You're in luck; here is Kelly Bensimon's "apartment makeover":

click through if you can't see the video

Go here for the equally drastic bathroom makeover.  Par for the course, people.

Real Housewives of New York City begins March 4.  In other words, NOT SOON ENOUGH.

Guess who's going to be on Watch What Happen Live this Thursday?  Tamra Barney and JLew (!!!!!!!!!).  If I can get my act together, I'm going to post something really creepy in his honor.

    Happy Monday, babies!

    (thanks to Michelle)

    uuuummmmmmm....okaaaaaaaay.......well...a few things...
yes, her new glossy floors are beautiful....
the mirrored column might work but it won't help her in any way...
    coconut is white...chocolate is brown
they don't sell air-mez at target and a 12 dollar fuzzy polyester blend rug doesn't resemble hermes in any way whatsoever...not even in color.
    and where is the after??

march 4 seems like light years...

wow, I would have reconsidered the striped top if I were her. she's tiny and it made her look like a linebacker

the coconut comment made me laugh. maybe she was thinking Almond Joy

Nothing says "old world charm" like mirrored columns and cosy, intimate bag hooks and glossy floors.

    January 11, 2010 | Unregistered Commentermodernemama

I think a rully rully giant horse says old world charm, too.

The rugs in her bathroom, she has them end to end, it looks like a runway to the shower

WWHL: I think we need to make it a martini night at chez gay's

Just think of all the "fashion mistakes" she could have avoided had she put a mirror on the pillar a long time ago!

I know I'm late to the party on viewing this but, my thoughts:

    1. Eye job?
    2. Enough with the horse shit: you're a grown lady - time to take down the show ribbons from over your bed for Chrissakes!
    3. I got a strong lesbian vibe from these clips. Has this ever been explored?
    4. What part of "I went to Target and changed up my bath linens" counts as interesting, a make-over, or worthy of a YouTube clip, Miss "I'm Not a Big Mirror Person"?

KB never fails to disappoint! Thanks for this.

Lolwtmf. Every time she gave me a quote that I was all set to remember and make fun of, she kept one upping herself until I don't know what to say. One thing though? Install that mirror. The hat was NOT a good choice.

Move over Philippe Starck, here comes Lady Coconut!

this is just odd. Her room looks like a 14 year old's. the horse ribbons? the bed even looks like she took it from her parents house when she moved to nyc at age 15 or whatever. I don't care what anyone says, she has some great art in that place. Giant, museum horse and all. off to check out her big bathroom plans.

OK, now we're straining to find things to hate. I like the bedroom and the rest of the apt. It's light and airy and relaxed feeling. Granted, Kelly has an IQ of 45 and the emotional maturity of a 12-year-old, but the apt. reflects that lightweight quality. It's honest. I respect it more than if she tried some faux-traditional thing.

    January 13, 2010 | Unregistered Commenteranon

Just odd, but I do like some of her art. She is just off.

Books on the bookshelf, as if she can read.

    January 16, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterTracey

'was this hat a good choice or not?' UMMMM... that would be a NOT kelly. and thanks for asking! also falling squarely under the NOT category are your broad shoulders in that horizontally stripped top. oh, and hate to break it to you, but no amount of coconut flooring will make your bland white box room 'old world' i'm rully rully sorry sugar.
